Ikeja Electric has appealed on its customers over the recent power outage witnessed in parts of Lagos State.
According to a statement made available to community media platform buy its corporate communication manager, Mr Felix Ofulue that reads in part “the power outage you have been experiencing in certain parts of our network, is due to load shedding by Transmission as a result of drop in power generation”.
He went ahead to say that Ikeja Electric regret the inconveniences and wish to assure that our technical team is working with other partners in the electricity value chain to improve the situation. Normalcy will be restored as soon as stability is achieved.
Affected areas include IJU, , ABULE ODU, EGBEDA, OREGUN, ANIFOWOSHE, AGO, OKOTA, OKE AFA, AJAO, AMUWO, IKOSI, MENDE, OGUDU, BARIGA, OWORO, GBAGADA and ILUPEJU he concluded.
