The Executive Vice Chairman of Agbado-Okedo LCDA, Honourable Ajoke Moromoke Aminat was the guest speaker at the jet club’s event organized at the Lagos Model College Meiran.
In her speech, she encouraged the student to always believe in themselves and focus more on their education while shunning all forms of social vices such as drugs and others.
She narrated the stories behind the library and women development center in their premises and its benefits to the community.
Her visit earned the position of Metron of The Jet Club, Meiran as presented by the students in appreciation of her commitment and responses to their plights.
In her brief acceptance speech the Aminat appreciated the gesture and promised to be a good ambassador of the club.
The climax of the event was a presentation by a young engineer identified as Alokolodo David of
S.S II that showcased his inventions of an electric time bell built with a solar panel, battery, a clock and a giant bell according to the inventor the idea is to create time consciousness among the students and the society at large with the ultimate goal of saving time.
Hon. Ajoke applauded the invention and in what seem like a reciprocation to her honour promised to host the students in her office on a later date.
