The attention of authorities in Igando-Ikotun LCDA is urgently required over the worsening state of Ikotun Road and growing indiscriminate dump of refuse on roads on Ijegun axis and could lead to an outbreak of epidemic if not urgently checked and evacuated.
Our correspondent confirms that for several weeks the heaps of refuse have taken over the center of the road with with offensive smell for both motorist and other road users.
There is concern that the Ijegun market may be affected if the menace is not urgently checked.
Ikotun-Ijegun road is gradually becoming death traps for its users as the road have been left to degenerate for years without adequate maintenance.
