… Hon. Jelili congratulates Elegbeda
After years of vacancy following demise of Oba, Dr. Samson Alade Balogun (JP) the former Elegbeda of Egbeda Land in 2015. The Lagos state government yesterday confirmed the Oba-elect Mr Hameed Omogoriola Orelope-Laka as the substantive Elegbeda of Egbeda Land.
It will be recalled that on August 15,2020 he was nominated as Oba-elect pending his confirmation.
The Executive Chairman of Alimosho local government Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has congratulated Oba Hameed Omogoriola Orelope-Laka, Elegbeda of Egbedaland on his confirmation by the Lagos State Government.
Jelili noted that “this is a good development for Egbeda Kingdom and the people of Egbeda Land as he wishes the new Oba a peaceful reign that will usher good tidings to all.
