Education is a continuous endeavor. Until life ends, education is very relevant to guarantee an upward movement into the discovery of new frontiers in education delivery system. More often than not, most teachers don’t have time to upgrade the knowledge they acquired in their days in the college of education due to workload but the pressure on them to deliver quality standard cannot be overemphasized.
Broad Perspective Limited, the publishers of The Alimosho Mail Newspaper, the organizers of the Alimosho Economic Summit as a fallout of the Economic Summit that was organized in 2017 in partnership with Liberal Consults, a co-educational consulting firm has come up with an educational training for teachers within the Alimosho Local Government tagged “THE EQUIPPED TEACHER”.
The training is expected to serve as a refresher course for teachers and intending teachers using modern day techniques to solve some of the challenges that teachers have had to face in their day to day activities. Teachers are faced with numerous challenges in the delivery of their craft. Teachers are faced with challenges ranging from pressure from management, lack of understanding of the pupils to the parents’ expectations.
One of the solutions that the training will solve is how to handle pupils with special educational needs, most of whom have become bottlenecks to some of the teachers due to lack of knowledge of approach to adopt. The training will also proffer solutions to dyslexia, spellings and reading disabilities etc. The training wishes to put in right perspective some basic school environment etiquette to boost the regard that participating teachers will receive from all and sundry.
The facilitator of the training, Mr. Kayode Nariwo, who has been an educationist for over 18 years and has served in several capacities in the school system, is well prepared to transfer knowledge to participants.
The training will hold at the famous Eco Event Centre, 64, Idimu Road, Mokola Bus Stop, Egbeda Lagos. The program is slated for 9:00am on 22nd of June, 2018. All participants will be issued certificate of participation.
