Alimosho Local Government yesterday commenced a seven days free health checks . The free health mission as tagged is scheduled to last for seven days and targeted at providing free medical care for the less privileged in Alimosho.
The free health mission will provide free consultation, HIV and STD Screening, Hepatitis B Screening, Hepatitis C Screening, Blood Pressure Test, Prostate Cancer Test (for Men Above 45 years) among others.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Odufuwa said “the prostrate cancer test is for people above 45 years, interested person should avoid sexual intercourse 3 days before the test.
Some of the Cuban experts training the local government personnel currently through partnership agreement with the Cuba will be available to attend to members of the public during this free health mission.
The health mission kicked off on Monday October 14, 2019 and it will end on Sunday October 20, 2019. The programme will be held daily at Bola Tinubu Primary Health Center by Vulcanizer bus stop on Akowonjo Road, between 9am to 2pm.
