Accolades rain on the Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun Honourable Morenike Adeshina Williams from parents, friends, relations and the 100 grandaunts of the 3 months poverty alleviation programme of her LCDA in just second week in office.

The event which took place on Tuesday at the multipurpose hall of Igando-Ikotun LCDA Secretariat was well attended. The Chairman; who was ably represented by the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde in company of the Personal Assistant to the Chairman Miss Damisola Omotosho, also had in attendance the Head of various departments amongst are; Resource Officer, Agriculture, Legal, Environment, Health and the Legislatures .

Delivering the Chairman’s address Comrade Akinsanya congratulated the grandaunts for their perseverance and dedication through the scheme; today is the beginning of your success story as you obtain your certificates in your various fields of trade, you are now expected to also agents of development by contribute your quota to the development of Igando-Ikotun LCDA. As it’s said to who much is given much is expected.

Furthermore, the SLG reiterated the commitment of the local government administration led by Honourable Morenike Adeshina Williams to continue improving the living standards of residents of Igando-Ikotun LCDA through the 3 months poverty alleviation programme.
The joy of parents and well-wishers knew no bounds as certificates were presented to the participants while they thanked the Chairman for her support despite her few days in office.
