Tragic: Truck Crushes Aspiriant on Eve of Election

Residents of Akessan are of of Igando-Ikotun LCDA home of Shakiru Balogun, aka SAB was thrown into mourning yesterday afternoon when the news of his death broke on the eve of local government council election in Lagos State as a PSP truck crushed the All Progressive Congress chairmanship aspirant of the Ikotun/Igando Local Council Development Area to death.
Our Correspondent gathered that the aspirant was on his to the council secretariat on Friday afternoon when the driver of a PSP truck lost control of the truck and rammed it into SAB’s Toyota SUV at Okofili Bus Stop, LASU-Isheri Road.

It worthy to note that the Okofili Bus Stop, area of LASU-Isheri Road had become death traps following reckless parking of PSP Trucks on the road which has narrowed the two lanes to one. Government is implored to act fast by ordering evacuation of these trucks to avoid more loss of lives
SAB is survived by two wives and four children. He had been buried according to Islamic rite.
