In an operation near Jubilee Bridge in the Abule-Egba area of Lagos, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) successfully apprehended three notorious ‘one chance’ armed robbers today. According to a press statement released by Mr. Adebayo Taofiq, the Director of the Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, the suspects were captured by vigilant LASTMA personnel.
The criminals attempted to escape arrest by driving recklessly, but LASTMA officials managing traffic in the Abule-Egba vicinity skillfully intercepted them. Subsequently, the apprehended suspects were handed over to the police officers from the ‘Ile-Epo’ Police Division for further investigation.
Mr. Bakare Oki Olalekan, the General Manager of LASTMA, urged the public, especially commuters, to exercise vigilance and refrain from boarding commercial buses along the roadside, commonly known as ‘So-le.’ He emphasized the importance of staying alert to enhance personal safety and security
