Roads, Primary Health Center, Schools, others in Alimosho LG’s 2019 Budget

    Ahead of the presentation of the draft 2019 budget to the legislative arm of Alimosho Local Government today January the 31st, the draft contains proposition for the construction of six new roads across Alimosho Local Government that include Azeez Ayorinde, Adeboun/Abeokuta, Oyinlola, Benster, Abati/Alhaji Osho, Kasali/Ibraheem Moradeyo and Igbeyinadun streets. The completion of Ogo Olowa street and ongoing administrative building are provided for.
    The educational sector will benefit by the provision of furniture, school uniforms, exercise books among others for students in public primary school and propose for the construction of new structures in two primary schools in Alimosho.
    The furnishing and equipping the reconstructed Akowonjo Primary Health Center and proposition for a new modern primary health center to be constructed at Igbehinadun (Ward B) while the existing health center will get a face lift.
    Achieving all these proposed projects depends on the prompt payment of our levies to the local government and reason for proposed extension of revenue collection time from 8:00am to 8:00pm to enable night businesses contributes their quota to the development of Alimosho Local Government.
    The members of the public are also advised to demand and collect their individual receipt after payment of rates while houses are enjoined to pay their radio and television rates, this will enable the government to give more to the people. The government also wishes to inform the public on renumbering of streets during this budget year.
