Gunners Link FC take on Divine Praise FC in an all-Surulere GGED final at the Lagos State Government, Orile Sports Center, Coker on Saturday.

Let’s take a look at the 5 games that got them to this stage.

Group-Stage Matchday 1: FC Bethel International 0-0 Gunners Link FC
Gunners Link FC’s 2021 GGED campaign started with an uninspiring 0-0 draw against FC Bethel International.

Group-Stage Matchday 2: Gunners Link FC 3-0 Casa FC
Gunners Link FC got their first GGED win on the board in emphatic fashion on matchday two, thumping Casa FC 3-0.

    Group-Stage Matchday 3: Gunners Link FC 2-1 36 lions. f.c
There was no clean sheet this time, but Gunners Link FC booked their place in the last-8 with a 2-1 over 36 Lions FC.

Quarter-Finals: Gunners Link FC 3-0 Victory Pros FC
Gunners Link FC edged into the GGED semi-finals with a 3-0 victory over Victory Pros FC. This was another professional and assured GGED performance to follow the ones Gunners Link FC produced in their last two group games.

Semi-Finals: Gunners Link FC 0(5) – 0(4) FC Bethel International
Gunners Link FC advanced to the final of the GGED 2021 with a penalty defeat of FC Bethel International after the game finished 0-0 at Lagos State Government, Orile Sports Center, Coker last week Thursday.

Looking ahead to the final versus Divine Praise FC.

Divine Praise FC are heavy favourites over Gunners Link FC in the final, but Stanley Egenti has already proved he can come up with a plan to beat the boy from Babs Animashaun, having remained unbeaten since the start of the football tournament.
