In a move aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and medical education in Nasarawa State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the takeover and conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia, to the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital.
The approval follows a request by the Nasarawa State Government to upgrade the health facility to a federal teaching hospital. The conversion is expected to boost the training of students in medical and allied sciences, as well as improve healthcare services in the state.
