He was full of excitement as he returned from the LASIEC office for his successful clearance which he sees as a giant step to his victory at the polls and opportunity to serve his ward as we waited for him. Honourable Daniel David Oluwaseyi in this brief interview bears his mind on his aspirations and set goals as Councillor under the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD) political party.

    Excerpts:
    Can we meet you?
My names are Daniel David Oluwaseyi an indigene of Ogun State but born and brought up here in Ward F of Alimosho Local Government Area (pointing to his father’s house where he grew up)an Higher National Diploma (HND) graduate of fine Arts and Industrial design, happily married with a child and by the grace of God the Councillorship Candidate of Alliance for Democracy Ward F of Alimosho LGA.
    Why Alliance for Democracy?
He smiles: Alliance for Democracy still remains the pillar of todays’ Lagos State and will remain so till tomorrow, everything that is happening in the leadership of the States in the last eighteen years originated and represents the firmness of Alliance for Democracy, and you know that the National Leader of the ruling party today was part of AD, hence my emergence as the candidate of AD is not regrettable rather a great opportunity since AD is proven to be a good platform and by the grace of God I shall come out victorious.
What are your aspirations for a Councillor?
My aspirations are born out of my passion to serve my people, I know that things are not right and believe that Ward F has not been getting what rightly belongs to her; though I have not been there before but very confident that I will deliver the desired services to my Ward.
In what area do you think you are going to serve your Ward as a councillor?
The youths are tired, betrayed, abandoned and helpless, am going to give them hope, am going to make sure that what belongs to Ward F e.g. job slots will be brought home, am going to build bridges to connect my constituents to anywhere help can get to them. My office will be to assist the needy especially our students who cannot afford to buy examination forms will be assisted, also I intend to use sports to bring harmony amongst the youths of Ward F and many other things that I would not want to list now.
Lagos State today seems to be a one party state; how do you plan to come victorious in this election considering her popularity and strength?
Politics is a game of numbers and those numbers will only come from your hood, Ward F is my hood and people here can testify of my character, APC is never a threat. I am grounded and my acceptance here is that of a 100 percent; therefor by the grace of God who is the author of everything I will be victorious.
What do you expect from your constituents going into the election?
I expect each and every eligible voter in Ward F to come out in considerable and let their vote make their choices.
