In a bid to protect unsuspecting consumers from criminal minded staff or individuals, the leading distribution company; Ikeja Electric has warned the members of public and its consumers across its network coverage area not to engage in making payments for metres to its staff.
This was made known via a campaign launched on its official Twitter handle @ikejaelectric that reads:
“We strongly advise that no payment for prepaid meter should be made to any IE staff, as we do not condone such act.
Kindly report any fraudulent activity via DM or send a mail: expressyourself@ikejaelectric.com or call 08008476337”.
The new measure further strengthens highlights IE’s desire of safeguarding its consumers.
