The newly inaugurated executives of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter paid a courtesy call to the Alimosho Local Government.
Led by its state chairman Comrade Biliamin Oba, they were received by Hon. Abolade Rasheed, the Supervisor for Health and immediate past coordinator of NYCN Alimosho Branch.
Hon. Abolade congratulated the new state executives while assuring them of continuous support of the Youthful administration of Hon. Jelili Sulaimon.
Comrade Biliamin said “the NYCN leadership message is clear; we are committed to change the narrative of youths in Lagos State. No state thrives without taking good care of its youth”.
He urged government to create enabling environment for young people, grants should be initiated for start-ups for young people with ideas.
The vice chairman, Lagos West Comrade Jamiu Ademosu commended the warm reception the council received from the Local Government and also the level of youth involvement in the current administration.
Other members on the entourage were Comrade Akinwunmi, Miss Olaide Yusuf, Amb. Abiodun Ajayi, Comrade Jamiu Ademosu and Comrade AbdulHakeem Agbaje.
