The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has congratulated resident of Alimosho for making it to 2021.
In his new year message themed The New Normal The New Me, Jelili urged residents to congratulate themselves for making it to 2021 despite the numerous challenges of 2020, a historic year with enough reasons for celebration.
He noted that its time for them to take charge, time to redefine ourselves and who we are, not to complain but to complement and not to shiver but to fly high.
He urged people of Alimosho to make a new optimistic people, a new progressive ideas out of our community, a new development strategy out of our various challenges. Its time to tap into the opportunities the new normal provides allowing 2020 be the end of our complaints while embracing 2021 to be a year of action and progress.
We are ready to change the narrative of our community. We are ready to make plans and projects the better part of us. We are ready to join hands with others in making live better he reiterated.
He believes that we are people of amazing strength and ability and have the potentials to change the world by rewriting a new positive story. Let us put away our differences and make purposeful impact in our society he urged.
He concluded by reminding his constituents that it is time to give and share with our neighbors, time to become creative and position ourselves in the society. Let’s think deep and change our narratives, embrace technology and breathe fresh air to the world.
On Covid-19, he appealed on them to remain positive, follow the Government guidelines always and rediscover our approach to things. We can achieve more despite the challenges posed by thebpandemic.
