The Igbo communities in Lagos has honoured their grandson, the gubernatorial candidate of the Lavour party Arch. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour with the tittle Ezi Nwanwa Ndigbo, (Worthy grandson of Igbo people).
The event took during the year 2022 new yam festival of Ndi-Igbo in Lagos state. The tittle affirms the acceptability of the Labour party candidate whose mother hails from Anambara state. The new yam festival is a wildly celebrated by the people from the eastern part of Nigeria, an occassion that symbolizes their gratitude to Chukwu-Okike (God) for a bountiful harvest.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour is not only a grandson of the igbos but also an in-law hence his recognition at this period of election may be an expression of his acceptability and that of his party by Ndi-Igbo.
He was accompanied by his sweet mother to the new yam festival.
