The Lagos state government through the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) has announced the end of the 50% rebate introduced by the government to cushion the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy.
In a statement issued by LAMATA through its official X handle.
The 50% fare rebate was announced by Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on August 2nd, 2023 to ease the effect the removal of fuel subsidy on Lagosians.
The statement further stated that off peak period fares will be announced later.
The public is hereby notify of the changes effective Monday, November 6 2023.
