As the three months deadline for the upgrading of all STS pre-paid meters draws closer, the biggest electric distribution company- Ikeja Electric has urged its numerous customers to expedite action on upgrading their STS meters before the October 31st, 2023 deadline.
In post via its verified official X handle, the electric giant noted that effective November 1, 2023 all customers on STS prepaid meters would not be able to receive the double digits of token for the recharging of their energy.
IE enjoin all customers yet to comply use the provided link smartkyc.ikejaelectric.com/nin_index.xhtml in linking their National Identification Number (NIN) before the October 31st, 2023 deadline.

Effective November 1, 2023, only customers who have linked their NIN will receive two sets of 20-digit tokens required to load energy tokens.
