… Holds Last Meeting For 2017
The Igando Primary School was filled to capacity as the members of the ruling party All Progressive Congress (APC) Igando-Ikotun LCDA chapter held her last meeting for 2017.
The party Secretary and the Supervisory Councillor on Agriculture Evangelist Bolarinwa started by reading the last minutes and in his remarks thanked the members for their undying commitment to the party and their support to the current administration of Igando-Ikotun LCDA. He also pledged that some empowerment programs will be rolling out soon as palliatives.
The Executive Chairman Igando-Ikotun LCDA Honourable Morenike Adeshina Williams took the floor to present her score card within 100 days in office while assuring to do even more in the years ahead. She also thanked her constituents for their unwavering support which she attributed the achievements so far to, she; like Oliver Twist asked them to continue with their support.
She listed some of her achievements that included the on-going renovation of the council secretariat, revenue drive reformation, rehabilitation of Akinyemi road in Igando, grading of Papa Major Bus Stop, free eye test and glasses amongst others.
The Asiwaju of Igando-Ikotun, Honourable Jimoh Ajao also thanked all members for their support, love and the confidence they have deposed on his leadership. In his words “I must confess am overwhelmed by your support for the executive chairman and I thank you.
He further use the medium to urge them to disbelieve any illegal party caucuses within the LCDA as the party remains indivisible and has agreed to work for the re-election of Governor Ambode come 2019. He wished them a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2018.
