The Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Comrade Lasis Akinsanya as part of activities marking his hundred days in office has reached out to Orphanage homes in his constituency by donating food items, toiletries and other materials.
The Chairman on Sunday visited two orphanages, Citadel of Grace Mission int’l orphanage home in Egan, and Bethlehem charity and Orphanage in Abaranje where he distributed rice, beverages, yams, noodles, food items, toiletries among others.

thanked the chairman and urged him to continue changing lives of less privileged.
Chairman Speaking at the Citadel of Grace Mission int’l orphanage home in Egan, said that the donation was part of his tradition, love, care and affection for abandoned children hence in marking hundred days in office, part of my contributions to bettering lives is to keep working for the wellbeing of Igando Ikotun residents,”
He noted that the donation was part of his goodwill activities,as the children in the homes deserved supports and care of all members of the society.
“I felt that while we are celebrating our 100 days achievement in government, it is important to also visit the less privileged children and show them some love.
“ I came from a disadvantaged home, very poor home; but by the grace of God, I am a man today. If God blesses us, we must see that as a sign to bless others.
The chairman was accompanied by his Vice Chairman Hon. Mojisola Ayinke Badmus, chairperson Mrs Akinsanya, Council manager, Hon. Akeem Kayode Baruwa, Clark of the house, Information Officer.
