The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon on Saturday met with Mrs Hafsat Abiola, daughter of late M.K.O Abiola, to discuss developmental initiatives for Alimosho Local Government.
Hon. Jelili Sulaimon expressed his willingness to take Alimosho to an enviable position through infrastructural, economic and human development.
Hon. Jelili showed his readiness to collaborate in the area of establishing International zoological garden that will serve as tourist hub in Southwest and first of its kind in Lagos State. He equally discussed technical vocational education for Alimosho youth especially pupils in primary 5 and 6 among others.
Hafsat could not hide her amazement on the zeal of the chairman in developing Alimosho. She said “there is a correlation between the zeal you have and that of China in the area of development.”
Hafsat is representing the Kudirat initiative for Democracy said “this idea and initiative is unprecedented, the chairman of a Local Government giving so much attention to development”
She said “We will be visiting Alimosho Local Government alongside some international organizations and other dignitaries to further discuss and experience the atmosphere”
Mrs. Hafsat promised to work on strategic empowerment for women in Alimosho as well as focus on train the trainers in the area of family health care.
The visitation is part of the collaborative drive of Hon. Jelili towards attracting international organization for Mass empowerment and job opportunities in Alimosho.
