Help us to build more roads: Alimosho LG appeal to LandlordsThe Executive chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon and his team had appealed to landlords at the ongoing 2019 budget retreat to pay their radio and television rates to enable the administration to bridge the gap in social economic and infrastructural deficit in Alimosho LG.

In line with the forth schedule of Nigeria constitution, radio and television is accrued to local government as a form of generating income. The Executive chairman has appealed to his team to reduce the rate to one thousand naira for bungalow, two thousand naira for a storey building, three thousand naira for two storey building among others. This excludes commercial premises.

This is equally to notify the people that free house numbering and other educational benefit from local government will be given to houses that pay their radio and television rates. The chairman further said that payment of radio and television will bring about more development to the people of Alimosho.

The chairman also appeal to CDA’s, CDC’s and landlord associations to assist the government in ensuring landlords pay their radio and television rates to enable the local government to build more roads.
The administration is ready to improve the infrastructures and human development in Alimosho hence the appeal to the landlords to pay their radio and television rates. Those that fail to pay their rates will face the wroth law.
