He is one amongst the youths who still believes that there are more legitimate opportunities to make money than to cut corners which has become a norm in our society today. He emphasised that parental role of bringing up their children is now almost a forgone issue in our current society. Recounting on how he was made to engage himself with one job or the other by his late mother who demonstrated to him that him been engaged was not for the money but to help his developmental growth as a young lad and to keep him away from being idle. Today he is full of praises for his mum.

    Dog

For Comrade or Pastor Seun as fondly call by close associates, he said he grew up in Shomolu area of Lagos State and was made to understand what money is and hitherto; attaching value to it. Noting that while he was working and collecting a salary of N3, 000.00 his mother will also pay him same amount at that age of sixteen as a school certificate holder.
This obviously propelled the traits of entrepreneurship in him and drove him to discover his passion for dogs; having had a dog-Scooby while growing up as he fed the dog thrice daily with his cousins, up till when he bought his first dog that later died within a short while. But for the demonstrated passion for dogs as he picked up a dog knocked-down by a car to cater for. At a point a brother of his came around and told him of his Alsatian dog which he was willing to offer him, he immediately followed up by going to Ogudu from Igando just to pick up the dog and from thence, he grew the dog business to international level of importing from other countries like South Africa.
To him, dog breeding still remains a lucrative business that most people are yet to discover, especially our youths. When he got the gift, he nurtured it by going from eateries collecting left overs meals to feed the Bobby till one year when he had to cross it with another for production, saying that the female dog can be crossed from a period of one year while the male is expected to stay up to a year and half.
According to him he was not that buoyant to afford all the required diets of dog but yet he was able to nurture it to the best of his ability, according to him the dog was already two months old as at his collection he continued until the first litter of the dog which was of 7 puppies; with already made market due to its quality; he sold the puppies for N200, 000.00 with a profit of about a N100, 000.00. When he got admission into University of Ibadan to study Chemistry, his mum was helping him out with the up keep of the dog till her death. While in school he continued the dog business, this time not breeding because of lack of time and permit from the school, rather I was trading on dogs, in his words “I buy dogs and sell within months and was making good profit, I could recall one Alsatian dog breed I bought for N20, 000 and sold for N60, 000.00 in a period of less than two months. I had top connections to supply dogs to prominent people which led me to importing different species from South Africa then. I could remember a Boerboel breed I imported at the cost of $1,000.00 and sold for $1,500.00 with the help of a girlfriend that financed the contract.
Today, Mr Seun has grown his businesses beyond dogs and into Educational Services, ticket booking, reservation and travelling consultant, according to him all he is doing today was the culture that was imbibed in him while growing up, he has always meant to believe that everything is achievable once it’s legitimate. He narrated how he got himself into his current line of businesses, as he said that he had always loved to teach, recalling how he helped someone to get a foreign admission via the internet years back. While he was waiting for his callup for the NYSC service in Ibadan he saw somebody that was into travelling agency business but did not really understand it as he was contracting virtually all he was doing , that was how he picked it and understudied it ; today he is doing very well on it.
He is also willing to give back to the society through his foundation Seun Odutayo Foundation, which he plans to use to educate people on some of the social vices.
Though he blames the leaders for failing the system but urge the youth to make sure that they go for education no matter how low the standard has falling, asking them to remain resolute and dogged in their dealings.
