Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has praised President Bola Tinubu for signing the North West Development Commission Bill into law, describing it as a bold move to revitalize the region. In a statement, Governor Sani lauded President Tinubu’s commitment to addressing the North West’s developmental and security challenges, demonstrating his deep concern for the zone.

The governor commended President Tinubu’s unwavering support for state governments in the North, empowering them to tackle their unique challenges and set the region on a path to sustainable growth. He urged leaders and citizens of the North-West to view the signing of the bill as a call to action, emphasizing the need for a collective and inclusive approach to development.

Governor Sani envisioned a “Marshall Plan” for the North-West, driven by the people and led by competent, transparent, and innovative individuals. He stressed the importance of accountability and effectiveness in the commission’s leadership, ensuring that the region’s challenges are addressed with urgency and dedication.

The North West Development Commission aims to bridge the gap between the Federal Government and the people of the North-West, tackling the region’s unique challenges and fostering growth. With President Tinubu’s signature, the commission is poised to make a meaningful impact, and Governor Sani’s call to action sets the stage for a collaborative effort to transform the region.
