The Lagos State Government has announced a road diversion plan to facilitate emergency repairs on Eko Bridge by the Federal Ministry of Works. The repairs will be carried out in four phases, with intermittent full or partial closures of the bridge.

To minimize disruptions, motorists are advised to use alternative routes:

– From Funsho Williams Avenue, use the service lane at Alaka to connect to Costain and access Eko Bridge.
– Access Costain to connect Eko Bridge to Apongbon for island destinations.
– Connect Apongbon inwards Eko Bridge to link Costain to access Funsho Williams Avenue.
– Use Costain inwards Alaka/Funsho Williams avenue or go through Apapa from Costain to link Oyingbo and access Adekunle to link Third Mainland Bridge.

For Surulere-bound motorists, use Costain to link Breweries inwards Adebe Village to connect Eric Moore/Bode Thomas.

LASTMA officers will be deployed to rehabilitation areas and alternative routes to minimize travel delays and inconvenience.
