In collaboration with Cecy Health Consult Ltd, Egbin Power organized a three-day medical outreach program in 2023 to deliver free medical check-ups to residents in Egbin, Ijede, and Ipakan. Over four thousand individuals, including children, adults, nursing mothers, and vulnerable community members, benefitted from the initiative, which included screenings for cardiovascular issues, arthritis, and dental concerns. Following thorough examinations by qualified medical professionals, participants received free high-quality medications.
Felix Ofulue, Head of Corporate Communication and Branding, highlighted Egbin Power’s commitment to sustainable development through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Mrs. Nosimot Yahya, the Iyaloja of Egbin, expressed gratitude for the program’s contribution to warding off diseases. Local resident Mrs. Akingboju Ataiyeshe emphasized the financial relief the initiative brings to parents, thanking Egbin Power for its consistent support.

Egbin Power reiterated its commitment to community development, citing additional support beyond the medical outreach, such as the donation of an ambulance to the Ijede General Hospital, quarterly medication donations, and the provision of uninterrupted electricity to General Hospital Ijede, along with free hospital-grade oxygen to hospitals in Ikorodu.
