The Lagos State Government has commenced a free test exercise for the Coronavirus pandemic in Alimosho Local Government Area. This was made known to the media by the director of Public Affairs Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs Mrs Bisi Olufuwa in her message to journalists.

    Covid 19

This is a proactive measure by the state government in nipping on board the possibilities of the virus spreading in the most populated LGA which will pose a disaster for the state and Nigeria at large, so far Alimosho has recorded one confirmed case.

The free test exercise is expected to last for 14 days, effective April 16, 2020 and residents with suspected symptoms of Corona Virus are enjoined to visit the health centre for prompt examination as its early detection will help in containing the pandemic.  Globally, the major challenge faced with in containing the virus remains that of its test, with this exercise the state government has once more demonstrated its readiness in winning the Covid-19 war.
