Alimosho Youth Development Association of Nigeria (AYDAN) has charged all elects of Alimosho Federal constituency to brace up to the situation at hand.

In a statement released to the public and signed by its president Comrade Ogungbade Olawale Lateef  tittled ” Its time to live responsibly”. The association expressed it worrisome on the docile attitude of Alimosho elects with regards to the current pandemic ravaging the whole world by shying away from their responsibilities while leaving the entire exercise of curbing the virus to the state government.

With the number of cases increasing by the day with Lagos adding 12 new cases today and with the highest figure across the nation, it is worrisome that the political leaders of the most populated LGA is doing nothing to reach out to its constituents.

He further reiterated that it is unacceptable to have such leaders watch helplessly while the scourge rages without offering any gesture to forestall the outbreak within their constituency, noting that the provision of preventive items such as sanitizers, face masks, hand gloves  and sensitisation exercises for the constituents should not pose any threat to their individual or collective purse.

The association is worried that with the population of Alimosho, it will mean disaster for it and Nigeria at large to contain with the virus.

It admonishing them on their ever readiness to spend huge on their electioneering campaigns while neglecting the lives of electorates when it matters most.

In conclusion he charged them to wake up to their collective responsibilities and safeguard Alimosho residents before its too late as it ends with ” Its time to live responsibly”.
