the news being circulated through WhatsApp messages claiming that some Chinese residing on Osoba Street in Gowon Estate who just returned from Wahum, China were being suspected of treating themselves of a possible outbreak of the deadly nCOV, the message further advised members of the public to stay off public places such as supermarkets within the environment.
Our correspondent reach out to the chairman via sms for clarification as she promptly responded that it’s a false alarm as the alleged area has been visited and that the news was found to be false. She urged the people of Mosan-Okunola LCDA and its environs to disregard the story and go about their normal business while urging for prompt report any suspected symptoms the relevant authorities via the telephone numbers already issued to the public for prompt actions. While reiterating the states readiness under its able leadership of Governor Sanwo-Olu for any eventual outbreak.
