In what may seem preparedness for the 2023 general elections the office of the national coordinator of The Redeemed Christians Church of God (RCCG) has created the office of directorate of politics and governance.
In a letter directed to all pastors in-charge of region of Politics and Governance and province and personally signed by Pastor J. F Odesola appointing Pastor Timothy Olaniyan (PICP Lagos Province 12) to lead the directorate. The focus of the directorate of Politics and Governance unit will be to identify members interested in politics and ways of mobilising supports for them.
The letter further directed the unit to be created at all levels of the church in earnest.
