After many years of promises of fixing the live threatening Oduwole Road despite making the list of 181 proposed road project of the second phase of Mr Akinwunmi Ambode’s local government road projects, the residents of Abule-Odu and environs can finally heave a sigh of relief as the leadership of Graceland CDA has taken the bull by its hone by grading the Oduwole road.
The CDA led by Otunba Kunle Ericcson had embarked on filling some of the dreaded portion of the road last week after their CDA meeting which has given motorists and pedestrians alike a relief. Yesterday (Saturday) the CDA took the rehabilitation exercise further by bringing a grader the grade the dilapidated Oduwole road which had caused various degrees of accident in the past.
Residents of the communities of over 10, 000 can now have a better ride home after many years of a threatened cut off from other communities due to abandonment of the communities by all relevant authorities.
