There is urgent need for all appropriate authorities to arrest the ugly development of indiscriminate dumping of refuse along the Olayemi-Olorunisola communities in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.
The increasing rate of indiscriminate dumping of refuse across the nooks and crannies of Lagos State remains a course for concern as the state continue to experience its effects on flash flooding of communities from slightest rain fall,
despite the pronouncement of taskforce on waste by the state government which seem not to be matched with the required actions on its enforcement.
This new growing dump site in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA poses great health danger to residents, passersby and to the drainages around; hence the need for an urgent action on its evacuation and enforcing action to discontinue the act and instituting measures of penalties for offenders; especially at this period the entire globe is fighting Covid-19 pandemic that requires an increased personal and environmental hygiene.
