It was Idowu Koyenikan that said that “there is immense power when a group of people with similar interests gets together to work toward the same goals.” This is the case of Association Youth Development Association of Nigeria (AYDAN), a conception of few like minds with passion for grassroot awareness, development and progressive governance.
Ten years after AYDAN has carried out its mandates to the later across the communities of Alimosho Local Government Area providing selfless services both independently and with collaboration with with corporate bodies or notable individuals who are willing that shares in their beliefs there by touching lives and creating a better space for all. Its activities in the last decade include sanitation exercise, seminars and workshops, grassroot political awareness, financial empowerment to both youths, older ones and widows.
In press release made available to journalists signed by its general secretary Comrade Thanni Opeyemi, the association will be using the event to honor well-meaning individuals that have affected lives within its constituency, the event is slated to take place on Friday December 31, 2021 to a yet to be disclosed venue.
