Assemblies of God Nigeria Apo Sectional headquarters holds its annual praise and worship concert tagged Shabach’23 with the theme Rekindle.
The annual event that attracts artists from all parts of Nigeria in the gospel genre is remarkable to members of the Assemblies of God Nigeria, especially the host Church, Apo Sectional headquarters under the Abuja East District.
The maiden event last year with the theme ” Mighty God” featured the Shabach’22 Praise Team, Minister Reuben Ebiloma, Esther Adams, Pastor Murphy Chuks and Chris Morgan amongst others ministers.
Reverend Christopher Odey of AGC Kpaduma was on hand to spice the event with soul lifting exhortation.
The second edition themed Rekindle according to its central committee chairman Bro Iji Michael, is billed to surpass that of last year in line with the Biblical principles that says “the glory of the later shall be greater than that of the former”.
He reiterated that confirmation of all ministers are done as the committee is doting the i’s and crossing the T’s. He further recounted the wonderful experiences of last year that include healing, deliverance and miracles. This year is assuredly going to be greater.
Rekindle; simply stands for a greater revival; that is what the Christians need today, in this perilous time with numerous challenges and that we hope to achieve through the grace of God and the help of the Holy Spirit
The event will kick off on the night of Friday, October 27th at 10 pm prompt with the climax being on Sunday 29th 2023 at 8:00am in the auditorium of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Apo Sectional Headquarters (City of Promise),Apo Mechanic Village. Abuja.
