The earlier Monday, May 23 scheduled screening of every presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been postponed indefinitely.
Mr. Felix Morka, National Publicity Secretary of the party, in a statement issued Sunday, said a new date for the screening exercise would be announced by the party.
Said he: “The Screening Exercise for Presidential Aspirants of the party earlier scheduled for Monday, May 23, 2022, is hereby postponed.
“A new date for the exercise will be announced shortly. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
APC last week postponed the date of its presidential primaries with this postponement the ruling party may be heading to a tighter schedule owing to the insistence of INEC not extending the closing date of June 3,2023 given to all the political parties.
