The administration of Hon. Jelili Sulaimon the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government has commenced the construction of yet another vocational centre in Shasha Primary Schools.
The need to equip the pupils with vocation has become highly necessary owing to the prevailing growing rate of unemployment across the country when certificates no longer guarantees one a job; hence the chairman’s initiative in the creation of vocational centres in all primary schools in Alimosho Local Government.
The ongoing construction at the Shasha Primary school makes it the third on the list having earlier completed two centres one in collaboration with Jaiz Foundation at The African Church Primary School, Akowonjo and another Aregbesola Primary School.
The projects is expected to be completed in good time for commissioning. According to the Vice Chairman and Supervisor for Works Hon. Francis Adebisi noted “the new vocational centre will have three classes with two toilets, a store and an office space”
