With the government yet to settle down to her duties following delays in appointment of commissioners resulting from the delay at the federal level, the state government seem to be making good its promise on its interest on community development as Alimosho seem to be among the first to benefit from this project; as the state government has embarked on some of the projects begging for urgent attention within the LGA amongst which are the re-opening of the Abeokuta Expressway portion close to the Dopemu axis of the road which is aimed at reducing the heavy traffic and loss of man hours usually faced with, the evacuation/reopening of the blocked canal at the Ekoro Road by Old Otta Road junction which will curb flooding usually experienced within these areas of Agbado Oke Ado LCDA, also construction of the abandoned and damaged curvet at Jimoh and Okunola bus stops on Akowonjo road and Idimu road respectively.
Residents of Alimosho are already heeding sign of relief as they claimed that these are long overdue but were not attended to by the immediate pass administration who literally forgot Alimosho in his developmental projects. They are also asking the governor not to relent as Alimosho requires more of such attentions.
