Alimosho Stakeholders Meeting; Jelili Preaches for Peace

    With days to the general elections the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon has preached for peace ahead of the election he made the call during the LG’s stakeholders meeting held on Wednesday at Alimosho Local Government Secretariat.

    He appreciated the supports of the people of Alimosho for the All Progressive Congress and said “we need to shun thuggery and remain peaceful that Alimosho is known for over the years”.

    The chairman used the opportunity to recounts some of his administrations achievement which include construction of Primary Health Center at Akowonjon which will be commissioned in February, the ongoing construction of a storey building primary school at Aregbesola Primary School, the construction and rehabilitation of roads among others.
    On the part of the federal government Jelili said “In less than four years we have completed projects that was abandoned with our money. We have build more roads, railway, increase power supply among others”. The Federal government has completed major projects all around the country, no state of the federation that is not experiencing the impact of the Federal Government. We need to vote APC across all levels so that we can ask the party for our right without any excuse”
    The representative of Alimosho Federal Constituency at the House of Representative, Hon. Adebanjo said “when there is opposition within a government, there is high level of instability, we need to correct that in 2019” reiterating the need to vote for the APC at all levels.
    APC party Chairman in Alimosho, Hon. Tosin Fatoki enlightened the people on voting process. He said ” use your right thumb to vote after which you fold the ballot paper backwards before slotting it into the ballot box.
    The meeting was well attended by religious leaders, market women and men, artisan, CDA chairmen and among others.
