… Cleans Ile-Epo Alhaji in Mosan-Okunola LCDA
Alimosho Youth Development Association of Nigeria AYDAN today 1st of December, 2018, took her environmental sanitation exercise to Ile-Epo Alhaji, in Mosan Okuola LCDA, as part of the organisation’s campaign for a cleaner and a flood free Alimosho LG the organisation, was today in full action, cleaning the drainage the Ile-epo Alhaji bus stop and at the same time used the opportunity to sensitise the people Ile-Epo Alhaji the need to keep a clean drainage free from dart that prevents free flow of flood.
The exercise started at 7:30 am and ended at 10:00 am, it was well attended by mostly the members of the association, after the exercise the president of the association, Comrade Ogungbade Olawale thanked the Mosan-Okuola LCDA environmental officials, gave a brief motive behind AYDAN environmental sanitation activity and also urged Alimosho Youths to be proactive in any humanitarian course that will project the development of Alimosho Local Government and Lagos state at large.
He said “the best form of service is the service to humanity, we are here on an environmental sanitation mission, like we always do, we believe with a clean and clear drainage for the flood always have easy passage, and flooding would be ultimately prevented, we don’t want flooding disaster in Alimosho LG and the five LCDAs. We are, therefore, leading by example” he also took time to commend the Mosan-Okuola LCDA for the tools they provided and called on youths in the LCDA to always give helping hands in any course that will better the lot of the people of Mosan-Okuola without expecting any monetary rewards.
He said “we sincerely appreciate the support from Mosan LCDA for the provision of tools and we are using this medium to call on youths in this LCDA to always be supportive in any activity that will move the LCDA forward and better lives of the people of Mosan-Okuola LCDA, without waiting for any financial rewards.
The representative of Mosan-Okuola LCDA also commended the association for doing a great job; the activities ended on a successful note.
