The governor of Lagos State Mr Akinwunmi Ambode will on Tuesday hold the 13th edition of his town hall meeting, an informal public meeting between citizens and public figures. The meeting will among other discuss issues and present information to a community, while hearing their concerns and opinions. Patterned after the traditional town meetings of New England, these meetings are an opportunity for stakeholders to interact and make their voices heard. Those attending may each take a turn to voice their opinions and ask questions of the Convener of the meeting.

The Monthly quarterly Town Hall Meeting, as initiated by the administration of the Executive Governor of Lagos Sate, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode at the inception of his administration in 2015, is in fulfillment of his campaign promise to duly engage the citizenry and chart a path where regular interactions will take place to tell residents of plans, policies and programmes of the government and encourage participatory governance.

The derivable from this ingenious initiative by the Governor is as follows
