The nightmare of residents of Alimosho local government as a result of dilapidated roads may soon come to an end as the local government has embarked on rehabilitation of inner roads which have caused serious pains to motorists for months. The government had earlier in the year placed notice of the exercise which got many quarters worried as no action afterwards.
The exercise which commenced last week saw the authority commencing the rehabilitation of the popular Ogunlana/Samuel streets which saw the road closed for motorists to enable the work progress without hinderance ; though the closure of the roads had its toll on motorists as the street is one of the major routes within the Egbeda axis of Alimosho local government.The exercise is expected to last for more days before completion and residents are enjoined to bear while the exercise last.
