The intrigues of the APC primaries seem to have moved to the Alimosho LGA as members of Alimosho Constituency 01 has moved to dump the incumbent Honourable Bisi Yusuf who is currently serving his second term.
A member who spoke to our correspondent via telephone and pleaded anonymity for not been authorized to speak said the constituents of Alimosho constituency 01 has decided that Hon. Bisi Yusuf should tow the way of Mr Akinwunmi Ambode as they have vowed not vote for him even if he is imposed on them. He confided to us that efforts are being made by the Executive Governor of State of Osun Ogbeni Raufu Aregbesola to persuade them to allow him for another term.
The members are insisting that Hon. Rotimi Ogunwuyi O’ legal as Findlay called by his supporters is their recognized aspirant cum candidate for the office Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency 01 in the forthcoming 2019 general elections. As at press time efforts are ongoing to resolve the brouhaha from the development as he said that members have been advised to remain calm while the matter is resolved before the end of today as the primary is designed to hold on Friday (tomorrow).
Meanwhile unconfirmed reports has it that the duo of Honourable Olufemi Adebajo representing Alimosho Federal constituency and Senator Solomon Adeola Senator Representing Lagos West Senatorial district are costing to victory in their today’s primary for the two chambers of the National Assembly. This may have been anticipated following the withdrawal of one of the major contenders for the senate seat, Honourable Kayode Opeifa earlier today from the primary.
