The Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu LCDA Honourable Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO) with members of his cabinet on Thursday inspected some of the administrations’ projects.
The Chairman said he was impressed on the level of work achieved by the handlers of the projects and demand delivery on schedule. Speaking with the engineers he expressed his observations and suggestions on areas that need to be improved on.
The Ifelodun and Sadiku Streets road construction which are at eighty percent completion are aimed at relieving the untold hardship the residents of these streets have been imperilled owing to the bad state of the roads for years.
He used the opportunity to urge residents to desist from dumping of refuse in the gutters to avoid blockages of the drainages which lead to devastating floods but urge them to imbibe the culture of a clean environment even as he said his administration is keying into Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s Clean Lagos Initiative.
He said his administration will continue to provide infrastructures for the development of the entire LCDA which was part of his campaign promises.
Residents and teachers expressed their happiness on the Chairman’s achievements in less than hundred days in office and urging him not to relent. Some of the projects inspected were the on-going construction of Ifelodun and Sadiku Streets in Idimu, the borehole construction at Unity and Community Primary Schools in Egbe
