Ag. Lagos CP holds Alimosho Security Stakeholders Meeting

    The New Lagos State Commissioner Of Police AG. CP. Imohimi O. Edgal is making good his promise on community policing as he hold security stakeholders meeting in Alimosho, the event which had some of the six chairmen of Alimosho federal constituency was to fashion ways of checking criminality with her environs.

    The Ag. CP in his address defined crime as an action or omission which constitutes an offence and is punishable by law and then made it emphatically that Police duty is to serve and protect lives and properties of our various communities.

    He also reaffirmed that it will never be business as usual for any policemen found perpetuating in making life unbearable for people which later resulted to the immediate instruction given to Area M Commander Mr Akika to set up community vigilante group so as to compliment the efforts of the Police Officers and work together for quick eradication of Criminality.

    “If you see any patrol vehicle anywhere and anytime, it’s now a mini police station, walk up to them and report your matters” Edgal stated.

    He has also assured both citizens and residents of Alimosho that his administration is working closely with the CDC,CDA, Vigilante,Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders and Youths for adequate security.

    The Council Chairmen that also graced the occasion thanked him and assured him that they will never rest on their oars to make our communities more safer than it has been.

    “If you see or suspect any strange faces around you or in your hood, don’t hesitate to raise an alarm because the security of our communities is our collective responsibilities. Let’s all play our roles”. Council Chairmen advised.
