President Bola Tinubu has expressed relief and commendation for the Nigerian military’s recent successes in the north-west region, particularly the neutralization of notorious bandit leader Halilu Sububu and another terrorist, Sani Wala Burki. The President also praised the rescue of 13 kidnapped students in Kaduna.
These achievements follow his directive to the service chiefs to relocate to the zone until normalcy is restored. President Tinubu commended the military high command, intelligence agencies, and troops for their valiant efforts, synergy, and dedication.
The President also acknowledged the improved security nationwide and urged the security agencies to sustain their efforts until all threats are permanently removed. He reassured them of his continued support in achieving the priority objective of keeping the nation safe and secure.
