Nigeria’s prominent airline, Air Peace, is poised to inaugurate flights connecting its Lagos hub to Cotonou in Benin Republic and Abidjan in Ivory Coast on January 22, 2024. This expansion marks the addition of two new regional destinations, bringing the airline’s total regional destinations to 10 within less than a decade of launching scheduled flight operations.
The announcement was made in a press release issued on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, by the airline’s spokesperson, Stanley Olisa. He emphasized that these new routes underscore Air Peace’s unwavering commitment to linking the entire African continent and fostering economic prosperity.
In addition to the upcoming routes, Air Peace is introducing new connections such as Abidjan-Dakar, Cotonou-Dakar, and Abidjan-Cotonou. Olisa further highlighted that the route schedules are now available on the airline’s website (www.flyairpeace.com) and its mobile app, allowing customers to book and take advantage of the attractive launch fares.
Air Peace has established itself as a leader in Nigeria’s aviation industry, boasting a network of 21 domestic routes, 8 regional destinations, and 6 international destinations. The airline continues to enhance its fleet, which currently comprises over 30 aircraft, including 5 new Embraer 195-E2s, with an additional firm order for 5 brand new Embraer 175s.
