In compliance with the approval and directive of Nigerian Electric Regulatory Commission (NERC) on the upward price revision of prepaid meters for end users under the Meter Asset Providers (MAPs).
The biggest electric distribution company -Ikeja electric has announced a price review of prepaid meters at N88,123.30 and N154,623.81 for single and three face metres respectively
IE, in aligning with NERC’s approval of excluding customers that have paid under the old price regime from paying additional cost of the new prices.
Customers are advised to stick to the existing guidelines of metre procurement while avoiding payment of cash to IE staffers.
