Ikeja Electric Moves to Improve Supply In Areas of Alimosho LGA

    …Embarks on replacement of old panels
    … Appeals for customers’understanding

    The leading electric distribution company Ikeja Electric has announced about two working weeks maintenance within the Alimosho local government area effective Tuesday 6th September to Monday 15th September, 2022.

    In a statement made available by the disco giant on Sunday, IE noted that it will be embarking on replacement of old panels at its Igando injection substation.

    According to the company, the replacement of the panels is geared towards ” improving the quality and quantity of power ” to the areas that will be affected in the local government area.

    The statement reiterated Ikeja Electric’s passion at improving the quality and quantity of power supply,hence have decided to replace old panels at it Igando Injection Substation”.

    “This exercise will last for ten (10) days, from Tuesday, 6th to Monday, 15th September 2022.

    Feeders affected are General Hospital, Obadore, Egan, Akesan, Igando-Ikotun, Agric Road and New Igando.”

    Reacting to the statement, the corporate communication manager of Ikeja Electric, Mr Felix Ofulue affirmed that there will not be total darkness rather when these panels are changed the affected areas will enjoy improved energy supply while
    appealing for understanding of affected areas during this period.
