Lagos State Labour party gubernatorial candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family of the late Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty Oba Musendiku Adeniji-Adele II, on the passing of their beloved Prince and Secretary, Prince (Omo Oba) Hakeem Adelani Gbogboade Adeniji-Adele.
Prince Adeniji-Adele, who was a devoted member of the royal family, passed away on August 2nd, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service to the Lagos monarchy. His passing has sent shockwaves throughout the state, with many mourning the loss of a true champion of Lagos’ rich cultural heritage.
Rhodes-Vivour, in a statement via his verified X handle described the late Prince Adeniji-Adele as a pillar of the royal family and a champion of Lagos’ rich cultural heritage. He praised the Prince’s unwavering commitment to his father, the late Oba of Lagos, and his contributions to the development of Lagos State.
“The late Prince Adeniji-Adele was a true son of Lagos, and his passing is a great loss to our state,” Rhodes-Vivour said. “His dedication to the royal family and his selfless service to the people of Lagos State will never be forgotten.”
Rhodes-Vivour prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed Prince and asked God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss. He also commended the Adeniji-Adele family for their steadfast dedication to the Lagos throne and their selfless service to the people of Lagos State.
